An important element of our broad and comprehensive program is the integrated music curriculum; research shows that exposure to music builds brain growth and supports almost all areas of cognitive, language, emotional and physical development. At preschool, students sing, dance and move to catchy songs and rhymes throughout their school day. Each week, to supplement the daily music & movement activities in their classes,  NCCDP students are visited by our resident rockstar Music Teacher! They move and explore rhythm, scales and harmony while accompanied by acoustic guitar or recorded music during the weekly music lesson, plus learn about and explore different instruments and musical genres. It’s a melodious jamboree!
