Newport Coast Preschool has an eight-week Summer School Program. Summer School is open to any child regardless of whether they are enrolled in the School Year. Please see Registration & Admissions for age requirements and eligibility. The program choices are Half Day 9:00 – 12:00 a.m. or Extended Day 9:00 – 1:30 p.m. two days (Mon. & Wed. or Tues. & Thurs.) or four days (Mon. – Thurs.) a week. Summer School is a eight week program.

Our fun-filled Summer School is based on different weekly themes with activities that coincide with each theme. For example, during Dinosaur Week the children “excavated fossils” in the sand. For Travel to the Tropics Week the children make flower leis and do the limbo.

The highlight for many of the children are our Water Days where children get to wear their bathing suits and participate in lots of fun water activities such as, sprinklers, water slides, shallow wading pools, and messy, muddy fun!

In Summer School the children are exposed to 20 minutes of music a week with our amazing music teacher. During this time they play different instruments, learn to “keep the beat”, dance, sing and learn to love music!

To keep Summer School exciting, fun and educational we bring in an outside enrichment activity such as The Lizard Wizard, Long Beach Aquarium Traveling Tidepool, or The Mad Scientist. Again, we try and coincide the weekly themes with the enrichment activity.

SUMMER SCHOOL FEES 2008

The tuition fees below are based on the entire eight week program. Summer School tuition is due in full by May 15th. Once paid the tuition is non-refundable. There is a 10% discount for siblings.
