- Newport Coast Preschool is open to all children regardless of race, creed or nationality. Our doors are open to any children healthy ages 2 ½ to 6 years of age. Our school is private, non-denominational and non-political.
- Children must be completely potty-trained. Wearing diapers or training pants is not acceptable.
- As a private school, we do reserve the right to refuse any applicant.
- Every child, including presently enrolled, must reapply each year. Timely application and accounts in good standing will be used to determine admission for the following year.
- Priority enrollment will be given first to Currently Enrolled students and their siblings and Alumni siblings. Second, to all Parent/Toddler students. Then there will be an Open Enrollment for all New Students.
- We accept Registration Applications from Currently Enrolled, Alumni, and Parent/Toddler students during one week of January. (Please see Calendar for exact dates)
- We accept Registration Applications from New Students the first week of February beginning on the first Monday of the month. (Please see Calendar for exact dates)
- Submission of an application for admission does not mean your child is accepted. Your child is not considered enrolled until you receive an enrollment acknowledgement letter signed by the director, submission of the appropriate fees along with the signed Financial Contract.
- Placement will be based on your family preschool program start date. We then try to accomodate your preferred choices; however, if one particular program choice is impacted selection will be based on years of attendance, good account standing, etc. If many of the applicants applying for the same spot are all on equal standing selection will then be a lottery.
- We encourage New Student Applicants to list as many choices on your application that you’re willing to accept in order to increase your chances of being placed in a program.
- Please keep in mind, with Currently Enrolled and Alumni families registering before you, some programs will become full (usually most a.m. spots).
- If you were not able to be enrolled in your 1st, 2nd or 3rd program choice you will be placed on those waiting lists.
- Our PreK Program is for those students who turn five (5) years of age between June 1st and December 2nd.
- All returning students are guaranteed placement for the next year with the exception of our Pre-K Program. Due to the high demand for this program we cannot guarantee that every four year old returning student who wants this program will get it.
- Newport Coast Preschool has an Annual Tuition that is broken into ten (10) monthly payments starting in September and ending in June. Your security deposit is applied to your last month’s tuition.
- Summer School is an eight week program; therefore, a two month financial obligation if enrolled.
- Annual Registration Fees for the school year are $150 for the first child and $50 siblings. Summer School Registration Fees are $50 for the first child and $25 for siblings. All Registration Fees are non-refundable.
- There is a New Family Fee for families who have not yet attended preschool of $200 first child/ $150 per sibling. This is a one time fee and is in lieu of the Annual Registration Fee.
- Security Fees for the school year is $300. If the program you become enrolled in exceeds $300 per month you will be required to pay the additional amount in order to complete your security deposit.There is a New Family Fee for families who have not yet attended preschool of $200. - School Year Security Deposits are refundable up until July 1st. If withdrawal notice is given after July 1st but before August 15th your Security Deposit will become a credit to be used in t he future. If notice is given after August 15th you lose your Security Deposit and it goes towards September’s tuition.
- Summer School Tuition is due by May 15th and is non-refundable once paid.
